Tie the Knot Tropical Wedding CARD, cQc#182, pp139

Love this stamp set Tropical Party, unfortunately it's retired.  My daughter recently went to a wedding in Hawaii and so I made her a quick Spring Hawaiian Wedding card where I did some brayering and sponging.  Played along with the ColourQ Challenge #182 with their "LOVE" ly color palette: Always Artichoke, Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and The Paper Players Tic TacToe Challenge 139 where I picked a Ribbon,Tag and Spring.

Using Tropical Party I have another version here on my blog. Such a fun card to create.

Once again, I LOVED the color combo this week over at colourQ challenge #181.

I stamped off with Brocade Blue first, then stamped with Brilliant Blue over the image.

Aviary Just for You CARD, cQc#179, LIM110

This card was created based off of this week's color theme at the colour Q challenge #179 The Royal Court Design Team with their "fun" color palette.

AND playing with the "Less is More" #110 ONE LAYER challenge team using a design of card with clean lines, minimal elements, areas of white space and few or no embellishments. This week's theme is using SPOTS and STRIPES. I have spots on the bottom and stripes from the bird cage.

The Way We Were Mini Album

I made this mini album for mom as a Mothers day gift.  The front is chipboard shaped as a camera covered with miscellaneous scrapbook paper, lace and rhinestones. The coil is decorated with cream color seam binding tied in little bows and draped.  Placed in the center is a 3" inch round mirror and circled with black rhinestones.   

Above is a few scattered black and white photographs of Mom and Dad in their early years. 

All grown up then and now.  Background photo taken by me (1989) of grandkiddies sitting in front of their grandparents home.  Far left Matthew, Brooke, Mandy, Marcus (and Mom).
