Sympathy CARDs, cQc#187

 
Quick post ... I made several sympathy cards this weekend for some very special family members using the "Love"ly palette colourQ challenge #187.  Using a soon-to-be retired stamp set called Just Believe. The stamp set is just what you need in your stamp room to create a wonderful variety of cards. I couldn't decide which one to enter so I'll let you pick.

Accessories: Sponge, Post-its for Masking, Framed Tulip Embossing Folder, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Organza 5/8" Satin Middle Ribbon, 2012-2014 In-Color 3/8" Stiched Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals, Marina Mist retired Satin Ribbon
Technique:  Sponging, Masking

Autumn Sympathy, CCCC Act 50

My take creating with the Salted Background Technique!

A lovely combination of Autumn colors:

My sympathy card this week trying out the technique Salted Background over on SplitcoastStampers. Fun, easy and quick. I'd used watercolor paper instead of glossy for my background.

Stamp Recipe: Autumn Days, Warmest Regards
Paper: Watercolor paper, Crumb Cake (Kraft), Cajun Craze
Ink: More Mustard, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, BB
Accessories: 1-1/4" Striped Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Sea Salt, Aqua Painter, re-inkers, spray bottle, heat tool
Technique: Salted Background
