Swallowtail Birthday CARD, ATC#16

Close up of the image heat embossed in black.
Good Morning, I have a great 10 minute card!  Stamp the swallowtail image with VersaMark on a 3-3/4” x 5” piece of card stock, cover with black embossing powder and shake off excess, heat set with the heat tool.  Let cool for a few minutes.  Using the Sponge Dauber I added Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist.
Using a brayer on the top and bottom edges I brayered the card stock using Lucky Limeade.
The design team has some cool up in the air inspiration ... come play!

Little Green Googly Ghouls CARD, cQc#152

It's been awhile but back again playing along with the colourQ challenge royal court design team with my creation using the new SU Googly Ghouls stamp set.  These little guys make me laugh.

Our Googly Ghouls have eyes made especially to be covered with Googlies--adhesive-backed googly eyes. This not-so-scary six-piece set coordinates with the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit ... so you can make creative treat bags for little ghosts and goblins.
On a sad note ... last week I was all set up to post the below entry for the colourQ challenge #151 and I was ten minutes too late  ... Ugg.  I can kick myself.

Stamp Recipe for card #1:

In Fall Season French Foliage, cQc#109

Here is my take on the colourQ challenge #109Emboss Resist is a cool technique.  It's Easy!  Just stamp the image with Versamark, then emboss with clear embossing powder.  After that is down, sponge or use brayer of the colors of your choice,  Don't forget to "buff" with a small paper towel the embossed images to remove any excess ink.  For my card after the step of using Versamark, I then added "ink", stamped, embossed and buffed.

Stamps Recipe:  SU French Foliage, Just Believe
Paper: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Ink:  Soft Suede, Island Indigo, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Versamark
Accessories:  Very Vanilla 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Top Note Die, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, Powder Tray, dimensionals, Brayer, Sponge
Technique:  Emboss Resist, Brayer Sky, Sponging

Enjoy!
