Organizing flair buttons for your Project Life memory keeping projects.
Putting the flair on Project Life.
There has been some discussion lately about organizing and storing flair buttons (badges) so I thought I’d share how I’ve decided to store mine.
I wanted to find a way to organize my flair button embellishments where I can see them all at once. If I store them in a glass jar or small container I will never see them. Out of sight out of mind.
DIY simple flair button embellishment clipboard
I jazzed up a plain clipboard and then displayed my flair buttons all in a row.
I adhered Mod Podge onto a sheet of card stock. Applied the card stock to the clipboard, let dry.
Used scraps of ribbon to decorate the top of the clipboard.
Adhered rows of sticky strip top to bottom as shown below in photo.
Applied my flair button collection onto the sticky strip,
Rows and rows of flair buttons at-a-glance!
You can hang your clipboard to a wall or place it in a storage box and take it with you to your next crop. Clipboard fit's perfect in a 12" x 12" inch plastic scrapbook container as shown below.

I know it's been a while since you've heard from me. For those of you that don't know,
sadly my mom passed away last month.
My mom: Margarita Garcia, 94.5, an independent woman at the core, Margarita learned at a young age how to take care of herself.Growing up in San Bernadino, California she faced struggles and being an orphan in the midst of the depression.Through those difficult years, she persevered and eventually found contentment when starting a family with her husband, John.Living the charmed life, Margarita enjoyed surrounded by her family, always loving and supported her loved ones. She was an exceptionally strong, patient and precious individual who will be greatly missed. She lived in her little White House, the one her and her beloved husband John, my dad, built together for them of 66 years.
Mom & I (Marian)
She know's I am trying to be creative again.
I would like to share with you at my moms memorial reception I had all our guests family and friends write down some of their fond memories of my mom. Later down the road I'd will document these lovely messages in a memory album traditionally or scan the memory messages for a digital memory book. A few years back I created a book in honor of my dad and while I was creating it I found it to be quite theraputic and very healing.
I specifically pulled out the Project Life 4x6 blank white cards.
Lovely messages left from family and friends about my Mom.

Project Life is an amazing system of recording memories without the hassle, investment, or hours required to finish a typical scrapbook. Becky Higgins has created a revolutionary system to simplify the process of preserving your family’s history in a simple, yet stylish way that takes out all of the guesswork.
I've been a long time stamper, scrapbooker, a former
Creative Memories Consultant and I said to myself "I can do this" and took the plunge. A few months back I've put together my first Project Life album together a wedding theme. I made two duplicate albums of the same, one for the bride and groom
and another album for my daughter who was one of the bridesmaid and also the bride’s hair stylist.
Project Life is an amazing and simple scrapbooking system designed by Becky Higgins. Lot's more news down below.
Take a look of Kelly and Ian's special wedding day ... Oct. 28th, 2012 ... it WAS a perfect fall day.
Using Project Life Blush and Midnight Edition core kits.
Kelly and Ian, the bride and groom had made the sweetest wedding favors that I've have ever seen. They were a mason jar filled with delicious oatmeal cookies adorned with beautifully laced & ivory satin picot edge-ribbon draped all around (photo on the left). The center photo showing I made a mason jar cut with the SU Perfectly Preserved framelits (unfortunately retired) filled with a punched leaves, covered with SU cardstock vellum and adorned with the ribbon from her favors. Stampin' Up!'s high-quality vellum is great for overlays and creating soft illusions. Misc. Round Doily.
We surprised Kelly and Ian with a wedding gift a photo album I made filled with
photographs taken of their special day on their one year anniversary.
One their one year anniversary.
Ian, Kelly (the bride & groom), Damon my daughters sweet fiance, Matthew (my son), me (Marian) and Mandy (my daughter).
