Happy Retirement Marilyn Ekdahl!

Retirement ... what a lovely word. I'd made this retirement card for my sister Marilyn. She devoted thirty-six years of service to Willit's Unified School District in Northern California ... a double "wow". Their cat name is Marbel (a beauty queen) sitting in the kayak. Marbel's picture was the smallest size I could get. I'm pleased.

My soft & simple vintage creation for Stacey Schafer's Stamping Stage Curtain Color Call Challenge Act #41. Stop by and see her beautiful creations/color challenges at her blog: www.stampinwithstacey.blogspot.com CASed and Inspired by: Weekend Warrior over at Splitcoast Stampers. With these lovely fresh, crispy and clean colors I'd used a different sentiment, the Night of Navy back panel I'd used the paper crimper (hard to view), distressing tool and a splash of stampin' marker bouncing the marker a few times over the stamp.
